I could see what Bronco was thinking with GFGH
I think the thought was that BYU's advantage was that they could outwork other teams in conditioning and wear them out. I have heard from someone that has coached at various schools that BYUs players are more disciplined than other schools. The reality that the 3 and outs and playing from behind when you don't have explosive playmakers became too difficult to overcome if you get behind. I do give credit to Bronco for trying a new approach to try and create a competitive advantage.

I think Brock is right though, if there is one area in which having RMs seem to be an advantage is in the trenches, because there bodies do mature over the two years and it makes a lot of sense to build a program around that. With all the things that work against BYU from a talent & recruiting perspective, this might be an area where there is a competitive advantage that we have to exploit and it appears Kalani is building his program around it.
