That split second distraction, possibly, “is dude/did dude just call 3rd TO”

would mess w you for a second, if anything did at all. Seriously, the kickers expression during the wait is often telling re his nerves. Esp at NFL level, lotta dudes miss once they get that sketched expression. I agree w you. Playing for OT, rather than pressuring TM for long throws & the pressure kick for our guy. I think Coach knew exactly how it wanted to play it.
