Um, you have no clue what recruits think.
BYU is not a p5 team, because they aren't in a p5 conference. They are also not a g5 team for the same reason. As far as the p5 conferences are concerned, BYU IS CONSIDERED A P5 EQUIVALENT for scheduling purposes (SEC, ACC, BIG and PAC). And BYU brings in p5 money (without the benefit of a p5 TV contract) and has a p5 stadium, attendance and fanbase.
