enjoy about the game. Football season is too short to build your enjoyment of the game on our rankings or if we crushed the other team or if we were mistake free. There were lots of fun things about the game yesterday on both sides. McNeese State made some great plays that I had to applaud them for.

I had a guy behind me that was obviously not a Mangum fan who yelled loudly and always negatively during the game. "Throw the ball! Throw the ball! Quit holding the ball", when there were only 3 receivers in routes and every one was blanketed. "Quit throwing the short pass! Throw downfield!" when he had gone through progressions and it was either throw the 5 yard pass or be sacked.

Those are the guys that bug me.

I had a section of people behind me a couple of years ago that were yelling like crazy negative things about Anae's offense and how we were always running up the middle. After the first series during the Texas game I told them to shut up until they knew how the zone read works. They were amazingly quiet during the rest of the game and the rest of the season! Between Williams and Hill running up the middle, they had nothing to say!
