Not everyone likes to jump up, cheer, and yell. Just because you think that's how fans should act, doesn't mean they should.

At the same time, there should be some tolerance from those types of fans towards others who do like to be rowdy and loud.

But you should also be courteous to those around you, and know that your behavior might annoy others.

Its much easier to ignore the quiet guy who just sits there silently enjoying the game, then the guy behind you who sticks his knees into your back, spills his food and drink, or who his yelling in your ear for half the game.

I'd rather have quiet fans who just sit there be at the stadium, providing revenue to the program, vs those same fans being home on their couch.
