I agree that coaching is a huge problem... but the worst of coaches can’t hold some players back. Think Baker Mayfield
would have sucked under a bad coach? Doubt it. Russel Wilson? Rodgers? Lebron? Jordan?

I’m not saying ZW is the chosen one or that same type of athlete, but we really don’t know until we see him.

My opinion on the Tanner / Taysom stuff as per coaches ruining or limiting them... didn’t really happen. Tanner was never good. He had 10 lucky passes his freshman year and was otherwise throwing up prayers to 6’6 receivers. He was never a good college QB. Taysom wasn’t ruined by coaching... he was coming off of 3 season ending injuries and was way too heavy his senior year (he bulked up too much) to play his type of ball. He went into NFL ball 15 pounds lighter (at least) and is fully healthy and playing / contributing based on his game and his original speed. Sure, Detmer’s complicated pocket passing crap didn’t help Taysom, but there were other factors.

IF ZW is a baller, he’ll ball out... plain and simple. Coaches are on the sidelines. Players play.
