This is my first post after being a long time reader of cougarboard.

I for one liked Bronco Mendenhall as a coach and was sad to see him go, but at the same time I think it was probably the best thing for BYU football, I was excited for sitake and what he could bring as well as getting Ty Detmer for the offense. Neither of those two have turned out, just plain and simple they haven't. Continued losses to both Utah and Utah state aren't just bad because they are out rivals (which is bad) it's worse because it will drive away recruits from the state of Utah which is our biggest pipeline state.

If Kalani doesn't beat Utah this year I think he should be fired, I think he should be told that and that should be his last chance, even then I think that should just buy him another year. So the main point I wanted to discuss is if Kalani is fired who is out there to replace him? This is not me defending him, I like him but after these last couple seasons I just don't think he's out guy, but I want to know who is even out of the potential replacement list. I'm lazy and didn't really want to go look through everyone myself, So everyone just throw out coaches who could come to BYU.

I'd like the choices to be realistic even if they are long shots, for example Andy Reid isn't a long shot he's impossible, Darrell Bevell is a long shot (a super long shot) but at least there is a chance since as far as i know he isn't currently employed right now (correct me if I'm wrong).

So there we go let the hunt for the next BYU coach begin.
