Honestly most of you sound uninformed. I just got back from Africa
Africa is a big diverse place. The blanket statements alone in this thread are terrible. Not all of Africa is an "impoverished tribe" that can't make decisions for themselves. Legal Hunters are a welcomed entity by the educated majority in most parts. They bring a lot of benefits.
Elephants are protected in most areas and it's actually causing problems with an accelerated population growth leading to vegetation loss.
In reality few in this thread and in the Twitter responses would have any basis for understanding African issues.

So people in the US should be making decisions for African tribes. Seems to me the tribes are better able to make
