Part of the problem is Americans think all those foods are theirs.
The best steak I’ve ever had was in Argentina. Actually, probably the best three. I’ve been to many of the top steak houses in the US. I can get a better steak in BA than Luger’s.
The best fried chicken I’ve ever had was in South Korea. Not even close.
I’ll give you bbq, but that’s mostly beef. Lots of countries do a type of bbq with pork that is really good. The US does beef bbq the best. But we don’t have the market cornered on grilling.

Remember, steak is a traditionally American meal. Then you get BBQ, Hamburgers, Pizza, Salmon from PNW, etc
