I played college sports. Getting a part-time job would be a much easier way
through school than using a sports scholarship. Especially at a school like BYU that is affordable.
To some degree the fire in one's belly that propels them to compete, succeed or dominate is something that they are born with. Like many things it can also be cultivated, and one's inherent potential can be maximized. This is where Bronco was so exceptional. The message was sent from day one that anything less that maximal effort would not be tolerated.
