I would disagree with you on it, why? Because all of the banks did not make
those types of loans. The #1 mortgage lender in the country did, Countrywide. They are no more. Washington Mutual did, they are no more. World Savings did, they are no more.
While the government may have had stupid provisions, there is a reason that specific banks toppled and others did not.
