successful programs but I think us BYU fans don't see the magnitude of even the lesser P5 programs. Especially those in the east.

Fan pack the stadiums for Nebraska, Notre Dame, Arkansas, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Carolina, and many more even when they are have down years. Fans pay a premium to be at the games, donate frequently to the programs, buy tons of gear and so forth.

Fan support is huge no matter what. Out west it is a different story. Fans are much for fickle, don't spend nearly as much on the programs, and are fair weather fans quite often.

There's a reason those conferences are raking in the cash. Those programs are worth it. The have the fans, the sponsors, and advertisers want to reach them and can on a guaranteed basis because they watch their teams.
