In one of the saddest experiences of my life, my office manager went in for knee surgery and a few weeks later was at PT and a deep vein thrombosis dislodged and went to her lungs and ended up causing cardiac arrest. I wonder how often this happens. Really scary stuff. Glad to hear that you got it figured out before it was too late!
