I didn’t follow b-ball much back then but do you think being in the MWC instead
of the WCC had something to do with us being ranked? Gonzaga and St Mary’s are good but the rest of the WCC is pretty terrible. The MWC had some good b-ball teams back then New Mexico State, UNLV, Utah, San Diego State. I could be off base but I don’t remember much from those years.
