Back in 1978, my high school marching band marched in the King Kemehameha parade in Hawaii. When we marched by, people would yell, "Did you Bring Potatoes?!"

IN 1977, I went to the National Scout Jamboree in Pennsylvania. I don't know how many times I was asked if we brought potatoes.

So, I do believe that Idaho potatoes are famous or maybe infamous, but this State is known for potatoes.

AS to being from Idaho, Inn my area we grow thousands of acres of potatoes. Cellar after cellar full of potatoes. So I have first hand knowledge potatoes are grown her.
