And, yes, you're right about the hind sight being a bad argument (re Manning). My point about Dilfer being mediocre is a stronger point. Although you are correct that Dilfer would have been a better pick than that dude who didn't last 3 seasons. However, I think it's less egregious to miss on a mediocre player than it is to miss on a great one. For that reason I think this looks worse for Kiper than it does Tobin.
