Don't ever forget that med school (and law school for that matter) is a question of endurance, not intelligence. You will be a doctor because you are a hard worker, not a brilliant mind. Though you may also be a brilliant mind. Same thing applies to most pursuits. When people forget this and start believing in their own brilliance, things go down hill. Usually to some combination of divorce, affairs, law suits, etc.
