I don't wish you do anything, and I feel sympathy for your situation just as I do others going through employment
struggles.
And FYI- I email and call my congressman regularly to express my opinion about the size and scope of the government. I've signed up to receive his regular constituent communications where he often asks for feedback or input on whatever the current hot topic is. I sent him my opinion on the shutdown last week. He's a Democrat, though, so my opinions just end up getting filed into the circular bin
