Also a very good point about freight. We do have a very extensive and efficient

nationwide rail network, but it's primarily used for freight. You can pack a whole lot more freight on a train than you can passengers, so it's a lot more efficient to transport freight on rail than passengers.

Europe prioritizes passenger over freight.
