so I don't know that you can pin this on coaches, especially Rose, unless you want to say we needed different coaches after 2010 and conference realignment to compete in that new environment.

I think the biggest detriment to FTB and MBB has been that the neighbors to the north backed into the PAC and the related cash-in.

In that light, other than the 2017 season, I think FTB is somewhat understandable. That is where the most money and glory are, and where non-P5 have the least access.

MBB is where the biggest question lies, IMO. There is a 64 team tournament that provides open access. Here, I think we've been really hurt by the early departures and unpredictability of the coming and going of players.

Tom Holmoe did not ask for conference realignment to happen, but if you ask me, he did a very good job navigating us through those years.
