Best athletes all played baseball back in the 1920s
Now it's probably #3 in terms of popularity in the U.S., maybe lower. The number of players striking out >100 times per season and the number of pitchers who have no command is proof that the talent level is still diluted as compared to the 1960s - 1980s. At least 100-150 MLB players belong in AAA or AA.
