Trump is a populist, but he won an election. He did not lead a revolution. He won the election because the Democrats failed to connect with the very people they needed to win.

What I am saying is that AOC wouldn't win an election because the middle-class from both sides would prevent that — they would never, ever vote for her. So, just like in basic Marxist theory, she would never be elected President but have to actually lead a violent revolution against the middle class, because, unless she completely changes her views, she would never win an election.

Her message is uninformed and dangerous to the American fabric because she wants to break apart the ties that bind us. All nations are a constructed or imagined community. The greatest enemies are always those that seed discord from within, which is exactly why Marx thought Democracy would never win in the long-run, because eventually you would always have a home-grown violent Communist revolution.
