Fair question.  Any tax payer could argue tax dollars should never be used on athletics.  Bringing this up when Utah has benefited for years and BYU benefits on the academic side from tithing dollars seems petty especially as USU was already starting to make changes that was improving their entire athletic dept.  To me, the real question is what is going on in Provo?  Arguably we have the 3rd best football program in Utah.  Is MBB next?  With our budget, 1.5M to USU shouldn't even matter.  But, we saw today a RB transfer to Logan.  Would that have ever happened under LE?
