My family wasn't exactly wealthy growing up, so we'd celebrate life events by going to the old A&W in Cache Valley. My mother, sisters, and I would all split Big Blue specials and my dad would eat his own. We would all share a few mugs of root beer from the special tap at the counter. That's where I first fell in love with fry sauce. To us, this was a fancy dinner.
Good memories. Part of me died a little when they shut it down last year.
