If you’re a college student and plan to work for a few years before going back to get your MBA, don’t wait until you’re 3 years removed from college to take the GMAT. There’s something to be said for being in good test-taking mode. Study for and take the GMAT while you are still in school (or shortly thereafter).

Your score is valid for 5 years (or at least it used to be).
