A lot of Kubrick's films, except for Lolita. However, even Nabokov admitted...
...that Kubrick's film had a better narrative structure (starting w/ the showdown between Humbert and Quilty and telling the story framed by that conflict) than the book.

But Dr. Strangelove was far better than the book, and you can make strong arguments for A Clockwork Orange and The Shining (and sort of 2001).
