Maybe nothing. 80s basketball was faster paced than what we've seen since
2018-2019 isn't finished yet, but it's on pace to be comparable to what we saw in the 80s. If the pace rate continues, it will still be lower-paced than all but one of the seasons that ended in the 80s.
Last season was the fastest pace we'd seen in 28 years but it was still slower than any pace of any season but one that ended the 80s.
