Most of the time, I don't even notice it anymore. I have awful Eustachian tube issues and there is normally the sensation of a big ball behind that ear.
Anyway, I got off an airplane almost three months ago and the pressure got worse and hasn't dissipated at all. I take Sudafed quite often and Flonase every night. That's supposed to help. Maybe it does. I don't know.
I went to an ENT a few weeks ago and he prescribed a nasal spray called Dymista. It's Flonase with an additive that's supposed to help.
Since starting to use it, I've developed a ringing in my good ear that progressively worsens a little every day. Originally, it was a low tone like a dial tone. Now, in addition to that, there's a high pitched squeal and a medium pitched scream.
I was told I would need to use the drug for at least a month before I get the full benifit so I hate to stop using it prematurely. I doubt Dymista is the cause anyway.
I think I have a question, but I have no idea what it is. It's hard to think straight. It's like a rock concert in my head right now.
I've had ringing in my other year for decades. I accommodated. It's fine now. This ringing, however, is so bad that I'd probably rather just die.
