Is there anyone who thinks that is likely? I give that a .01 chance.
Sure, it would be great. But if they were going to do that it would have been done 20 to 30 years ago rather than making Ricks JC into BYUI
I knew a well connected Arizona guy who showed me the land the Church once owned 30 - 40 years ago where he said there was serious consideration of creating another Church school. But they decided against it. No, don’t know if it’s true but this guy is well known and well connected.
Anyway, it would be nice but I think the talk is pointless. Is there anyone who thinks the Church is going to create another school? Guess you never say never but I think they eventually up BYU to 40,000 and BYUI to about 30000 and that’s it. Then you have BYU Pathwaysto help get the non-traditional kids on a college path.
