Have not been there lately.
I am a BYU alum and had never been to Ricks/BYUI when I lived in Provo.
But I really liked what I saw at BYUI when I dropped my daughter off a few years ago. Nice campus facilities and a growing community. My perceptions of the university greatly changed after my visit and seeing how my daughter loved it. I hope my son decides to go ther too. It would be a great place for him.

The negativity towards Rexburg and BYUI has tainted the perceptions held by high school kids and many of their parents . Many don’t really know the positives that this campus and university offers.

One wish would be that the BYUI Honor Code would more closely align with BYUs. And Yes, both HCs could use an slight upgrade.
I also think two basketball teams (men’s and women’s) would boost/unify the students, campus and the residents within the eastern Idaho region. These programs could generate enough income and donations to be 100% self-sufficient. They already have the facilities/gym.
