It doesn't really matter if it is the championship game or where it's being played. If BYU had beaten San Diego and Saint Mary's and then trailed Gonzaga 26-2 on Tuesday, everyone on here would STILL be clamoring for Rose's head. I would actually state that the first half against UNLV in 2000 was worse than the first half against San Diego.

BTW, we had also beaten UNLV twice in the 1999-2000 season.

That being said, I am NOT attempting to defend Dave Rose or the team right now. I'm just saying that it felt terribly familiar to me.
