I need to replace my 2011 iMac, it's dying. I might buy the 2017 model though
Since the specs didn't change all that much. Same graphics card for the most part. Processors saw some bump, but I'm not sure it will be worth the few hundred dollars difference. Biggest reason to buy newer is that Apple will support it longer with updates. I might just buy the 2017 version and upgrade again if/when they finally do a significant refresh that provides new features that I want.
