The 2019 model isn't that much faster than the 2017 model (assuming I don't spring for the i9 processor) At least not enough to cover the cost difference if retailers start unloading the 2017 models for a good deal. And they're both significant faster than my 2011

It will be much faster than your 2011 (a 8th Gen i5 is faster than a 2nd Gen i7)
