Of course not. NCAA is the goal, but it's not realistic to have that expectation
every single year. To do it 8/14 years (including a HC violation away from a legit shot at the title) and never dropping below a 1/3 team is REALLY good for team like BYU who has crazy restrictions.
Just like in football a top 25 finish is the goal, but it's just not going to happen every year. Bronco finished their, 5/11 years, never finished in the bottom half of teams and won 8-9 in the "down years". We now AVERAGE a bottom half finish after moving on.
