had a detached retina at 17 with complications after the initial repair. As a result I am very nearsighted with astigmatism. I am far sighted in the other eye. Anyways, if you are near SLC you should see Dr. Peirce in Draper. He is very thorough and had equipment in his office I had only previously seen in my surgeons office (Dr. Carver for any optometrists).
