Gonzaga lost Jesse Wade a couple years ago (he's at BYU now). BYU is losing two players who don't play much. Transfers happen. It's usually a good thing.

True that right now players aren't feeling a lot of loyalty to this coaching staff or BYU, but I think it's also a generational thing that student athletes across the board are feeling less loyalty to their schools. That doesn't mean it's o.k. that BYU is losing some great players to transfer (or leaving early) from time to time, but it's also not unusual. The truth is Gonzaga and Saint Marys that are exceptional at getting students to transfer in and stay and they are both in our conference. Bummer for us.
