So I told my kids they could choose to go anywhere in the world with just mom and dad the summer between middle school and highschool and my daughter has chosen the Bavarian/Tirolian Alps for this summer.

We're staying two weeks and was wondering if CB could provide some off the beaten path activities/sites near Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

We'll have a car for one week so anything within 3 hrs drive could be considered.
