told me that he and his family qualified for medicaid - family of 7. He owns a renovation business and does pretty well - not awesome but good. He was saying he was looking into switching up his insurance when he thought he'd just see if he could qualify for medicaid and it turns out he can. Having 5 kids was a big help in qualifying.

Couple of toys in the trailer (snow mobiles), mom drives around a 2013 Sienna. All of which paid for in cash. Point being, at least see if you qualify for medicaid. Results might surprise you.
