sold to either UVU students or those not in school at all. They get first dibs on a contract for the next school year. That means every year there are fewer and fewer spots available for BYU students w/in the radius & approved. This summer BYU will have over 2000 student going on some sort of travel study program who need to vacate their apartment. Then you have those (like your kid) who rely on summer earnings while living at home to pay for the following year's expenses. It's a spiraling problem that gets worse every year.
