I totally get this, and I have not yet given up.

But I can understand the mentality of those who have. Losing to UMASS and scoring one touchdown against NIU at home are not things people readily forget.

This point is brought up often. Is it cheering that causes better play or better play that causes cheering? I lean more toward the second opinion.
