Not sure that's an accurate comparison. I do agree that there should

be a graduate program that can easily help get athletes admitted.

However, BYU football brings in a ton of money. Donors donate a ton of money to see BYU excel in sports. If someone comes to you and says, hey look we need these donations so suck it up and bring this dude one so we can keep the deep pocket happy, you do it. It's a simple business decision.
