Bronco was big on this idea. Bronco was a surprise guest speaker in one of my
classes in 2006 or 2007. He implored us to not let our kids play tackle football until they were 13 or 14. He was very passionate about it. It stuck with me.

Is he asking to play football? A kid being in football prior to HS has little advantage over a kid who waited until HS.
