I played 6th/7th grade tackle, got lazy and didn’t play 8th (didn’t want to run
And condition). My dad then told me I could play football in high school, another sport, or I could walk to Safeway every day until I got a job. Job sounded way less fun so I took football back up. By 16 it was all I could think about, my whole life was built around football. When it was over at 18 I wished I had played more as a kid.

Is he asking to play football? A kid being in football prior to HS has little advantage over a kid who waited until HS.
