Each year parental and coach behavior seems to incrementally get worse. I haven’t decided if it’s as a result of our general culture malaise or what. Last Fall, I saw a center ref having to cease play to wait for parents to leave the field entirely...three separate times in one game. I hate to be that guy, but my experience in Utah thus far is that it’s somewhat worse in Utah than it was in Texas (aside from playing a couple teams in Dallas whose parental behavior was usually crazy what you’d hear (eg open endorsement of injuring other teams’ players)).
