Advocate someone do only cardio over it. As I've had to do more cardio I can understand why people do it too. My resting heartrate is 50 bpm and my blood pressure is lower and I can get out and enjoy lots of different sports all sorts of good things from cardio. Finding a good mix is key. For reference I'm 5'9" and 217 (trying to get down to about 200)
