I love Kalani the person. The record against our rivals is embarrassing though.

0-3 versus Utah with some heart breaking losses: L 19-20 on failed 2 point conversion, L 13-19, L 27-35 after leading 20-0

1-2 versus Utah State with 2 blowout losses: W 28-10, L 24-40, L 20-45

0-3 versus Boise State team that is not what it once was: L 27-28, L 7-24, 16-21 after failing 3 plays inside the 5 to win

Combined 1-8 versus Utah, Utah State, and Boise State. In close games he can't get it done against rivals. Is this more due to the new norm where we are a mediocre team with mediocre players and mediocre record being a nobody Indy and programs like Utah State have surpassed us? Or have we underperformed like crazy with inexperienced coaches that are getting better?

This is my biggest beef with Kalani so far. LES used to be a huge advantage and it seems like that has died.
