Bronco-recruited teams were able to follow the general rule I suggested while

Bronco was here. Were there exceptions? Yes, but generally he beat Utah St. or was at least favored to beat them. We traded off with Boise state pretty often towards the end (once Boise's coaches left and the program declined a bit).

Your blanket statement of my ignorance is not helpful in convincing me that I am wrong, and only strengthens my opinion when you provide no analysis to back up what you say. I get that Kalani used sophmores and freshman a lot in his second and third year. This to me shows a lack of training up his juniors and seniors. Can a freshmans natural ability occassionally be so good that they should be played ahead of a more skilled junior? Yes, but when it is happening all over the field, it speaks to the lack of teaching up the underclassman the year before. Maybe this can be explained by the fact that the new coaches are too busy trying to teach the players that are playing every day to learn the systems put in place. However, again, I would expect this to only affect some and not the majority of juniors and seniors in years 2 and 3. Stop laying on the blanket superiority and discuss.
