RE: For those disappointed at GOT last night, what would
Jaime’s arc was so unsatisfying. He spent several seasons learning from his past mistakes. Yes he still loves his sister but the arc would have been complete had he killed her instead of trying to rescue her after she brought down hellfire on her city.

Dany should have had more time to turn Mad Queen. Her abrupt change after seasons of proving to followers that she wasn’t her father was really unsatisfying. I don’t mind her being the Mad Queen just didn’t like how they did it.

Arya being this crazy assassin who took out the Night King only two episodes ago turns into a scared little girl running through a burning city sacrificing other little kids to save herself? Anything would have been better than that. Just completely off of what I expected her character to do. And, as Olancho said before, that last scene of Shadowfax showing up to save her was such a bad deus ex machina. Like no living thing was there, yet somehow this white horse shows up just chilling there waiting for her to get on.

Grey Worm had never shown a penchant for killing innocents before. Yet the death of his gf made him turn? That just seemed so off. I could see him obeying because he is trained to obey. But not going out there and just massacring innocents out of blood rage. Just didn’t like how his arc turned either.

So one week ago the scorpions could make three straight kill shots from a mile away from a ship? But this week the thousand ballistaes couldn’t even get close to Drogon? What was the point of even having an army? She basically won Kings Landing with her dragon alone. So yeah that was super lame.

Varys death was lame. Basically he was executed for mentioning to Jon and Tyrion that he cares for innocents and thought Jon, who has a better claim, would be a better King? And Jon and Tyrion just watch as he dies?

This episode had so many cool things happen in it, but because it was rushed it didn’t feel like it was properly setup. Like I don’t even know where Danys army came from? I thought all her men died in Winterfell or were drowned in dragonstone. Yet she had an army of like 10k from nowhere..

So much could have been done differently. Even with the same ending.
