The problem wasn’t with this episode - this one was great. The problem is the
episodes that preceded it. Didn’t take enough time to set up where they were going.
This is the episode where we see where everyone lands - Dany crazy; Arya maybe humbled; Jon feeling guilty for supporting Dany; Jaime ultimately loyal to Cersei.
All of those things are good. And this episode was really fun to watch. But it would have been nice if they took more time getting there.
An extra season would have been great.
But this episode I won’t fault. This was excellent.

This is the best defense of the episode. In a vacuum it is probably a great action episode, other than the scorpions
