Agree with almost everything you said. In addition...
The fact that the showrunners thought it would be good to have Cersei, the mad Queen who took action and had plans to handle everything, sit in the tower of the red keep and act hamstrung and completely lost, was completely unacceptable. That's not who she is. That is not what would have happened.

They have turned Jon into a one-dimensional character..."I never wanted the throne, I never wanted the throne". That was never who he was. Sure, he could be somewhat hyper focused, but the whole reason was because he loved the people and wanted to keep them free. He recognized the problems with the direction Daenerys was headed and has done nothing? I know there is still time, and will likely happen next episode, but his inaction is not what he has done in the past.

Tyrion has basically been turned from someone that understood everything to someone that understands nothing. He doesn't make continual mistakes, unless it's the 8th season of GOT with no source material to pull from.
